Carpet Court is Australia's largest flooring retailer with locations all across the country. We have two stores south of the river with a Luxaflex Gallery store in one of our retail shops and a Commercial division run out of our office/warehouse. The position is located at our Kardinya Warehouse. A vacancy exists for a Full time Warehouse person. The position is a very high paced, high turnoverwarehouse and only people with previous warehouse experience and the ability to think ahead with ahigh attention to detail and organization need apply.
Key Responsibilities
* Receive stock within a computerized system
* Inventory control and management
* Preparing carpet, timber, vinyl and blinds products ready for installation
* Ability to operate a forklift and works in a hands‐on capacity
* Maintaining a safe warehouse environment and culture
* General warehouse duties
* Customer service and liaising with sub‐contractors
* Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimise space utilisation
* Dispatching of goods in a timely and efficient manner
* Deliveries to site with some heavy lifting
Qualifications and Requirements
* Proven minimum 5 years' experience in a warehouse environment
* Current "C" class clean driver's license - Mandatory. Small truck experience desirable
* Manual licence preferred
* Excellent organisational skills and ability to meet deadlines
* Ability to multitask and manage a tight schedule and workload
* Ability to work unsupervised
* Great communication and interpersonal skills
* Must live South of River
