Job Description
As a Traffic Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of transportation infrastructure in Lake Macquarie. You will be responsible for undertaking investigations and technical assessments of the transport network to identify opportunities for improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
* Investigate and assess traffic flow, safety, and accessibility
* Develop and implement traffic management plans
* Conduct technical studies and audits to identify improvement opportunities
* Prepare and present reports and recommendations to stakeholders
* Manage community consultation and engagement processes
* Review and provide feedback on traffic management plans for construction works and events
* Provide technical advice on development proposals and infrastructure planning
* Support project management and delivery of transportation infrastructure projects
Required Skills and Qualifications:
You will have a strong background in transportation engineering and relevant industry experience. A degree in Civil Engineering or related field is required.
