Komatsu is searching for a driven Project Manager to take charge of our Curragh site operations and lead a high‑performing team delivering world‑class fleet maintenance for one of Australia's major mining operations.

You'll be the on‑site powerhouse responsible for maximising machine availability, driving zero harm, ensuring contract performance, and building strong, trusted relationships with our customer and internal stakeholders. Your leadership will directly influence productivity, safety, and long‑term customer success.
What You'll Lead
* A team of maintenance specialists, planners, trades, and contractors.
* Execution of all work under the Maintenance Agreement.
* Planning, scheduling, troubleshooting, and data-driven performance management.
* Customer meetings, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives.
* Safety culture, compliance, and operational excellence on site.
What You'll Bring
* Trade Qualification – Highly regarded.
* Strong leadership and people management capability.
* Strong commercial and financial acumen.
* Background in heavy equipment, maintenance, fleet operations, or mining services.
* Ability to manage safety, compliance, planning, KPIs, and customer expectations.
* Confident communicator with solid financial and reporting skills.
* Coal Board Medical & QLD Coal G1 Passport (or ability to obtain).
* S11, S123, G2 qualifications.
* A proactive, calm-under-pressure operator who thrives in fast-paced environments.
* Flexibility to travel and be available as required to support a 24/7 operation.

Curragh Mine (candidates may be based in Mackay, Rockhampton, Emerald or Gladstone)
Schedule:
Monday to Friday, on-site
