Job Description
This permanent, part‐time opportunity offers hands on experience in the OSHC industry. You'll be supported every step of the way by a Director of Service, ensuring you have everything you need to thrive in your role.
Service Location
Moorabbin, VIC, 3189.
Working Hours
* Monday to Friday: Before School Care 6:45am – 8:45am
* Monday to Friday: After School Care 3:00pm – 6:15pm
* Total hours per week 26.25
Role Summary
As the Second in Charge (2IC), you'll be a key leader in delivering high‐quality care and creating memorable experiences for the children in our service.
Responsibilities
* Engage with the school community, attending events and assemblies.
* Assist with the creation and implementation of enriching experiences based on the preferences of the children in your program.
* Foster genuine relationships with children and their families.
* Play and have fun with primary school aged children.
* Support ensuring your program complies with industry regulations.
Candidate Profile
* Previous experience in Before and After School Care or education is preferred but not essential – we can train you.
* Thrives in a fast‐paced environment and has a positive, can‐do attitude.
* Confident communicator with children, parents, team members and school principals.
* Strong team player with excellent problem‐solving skills.
* Passionate about creating enriching experiences for primary‐aged children.
* Energetic, enthusiastic, and love to have fun.
* Relevant Diploma qualification (equivalent or working towards it) as per ACECQA standards.
* Completed mandatory National Child Safety Training through Geccko before commencing employment.
