About the Role
We are seeking a Quality and Safety Partner to promote and facilitate a focus on quality, risk management and improvement within clinical service areas based on agreed organisational frameworks and tools.
You will support patient-focused risk and improvement services, provide advice to clinical services, create exceptional experiences across the organisation, develop and review effective incident reporting for all areas and participate in accreditation-related activities to achieve successful accreditation.
A Regular Day Will See You
* Assisting Clinical Directors and Managers with initiatives and activities relating to quality, risk and patient safety
* Reviewing non-OHS incidents from clinical service areas following verification of mandatory information within required monthly timelines
* Investigating ISR 1 and 2 incidents, escalating appropriately and meeting Statutory Duty of Candour requirements
* Supporting implementation and evaluation of quality, risk and improvement activities within the clinical arena
* Reporting compliance with National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards
About You
We are looking for a collaborative and thoughtful communicator who can build trust, work independently or as part of a team, and translate data and insights into meaningful change.
* Tertiary qualification in a health-related area and/or experience in the health sector
* Understanding of clinical governance and systems approach to quality, patient safety, continuous improvement and risk management
* Ability to build and maintain strong professional relationships
* Data management and clinical incident review experience
* Teamwork and individual work ability
