The Opportunity
* Act as first point of contact for clients across a diverse range of matters.
* Work side‑by‑side with senior lawyers and receive on‑the‑job training to deepen your employment‑law expertise.
* While the role is full-time, we're open to a part-time arrangement for the right person.
* This position is fully on‑site in Perth.
Key Responsibilities
* Advise on dismissal claims, award & Fair Work compliance, contractor issues, general protections, underpayment, redundancy, discrimination, employment contracts and more.
* Draft letters, claims, witness statements and submissions.
* Represent clients in the Fair Work Commission, Federal Circuit and Family Court, WAIRC and the Industrial Magistrates Court.
* Negotiate resolutions through mediation and conciliation.
Skills & Qualifications
* Admitted (or eligible for admission) as a lawyer in Australia.
* Training or demonstrable experience in employment law - e.g. university units, clerkships, or legal practice.
* Strong research, drafting and advocacy skills.
* Empathy and commercial acumen when dealing with clients.
