Clinical/Registered Nurse - Renal Dialysis Unit

* Flinders and Upper North Local Health Network – Whyalla
* Full/Part Time | Ongoing
* Multiple Positions Available
* Base Salary Range:
o $87,416 - $110,497 p.a (pro rata) | RN/M2C
o $74,831 - $102,103 p.a (pro rata) | RN/M1
* In addition to base salary, this position attracts Superannuation, Leave Loading, Zone Allowance and once off Incidental Payment (conditions apply), Professional Development Allowance, and Salary Sacrificing Benefits (salary packaging).
* Please note that as this position is multi-classed as either a RN/M2C or RN/M1, the classification will be determined by qualifications and experience.

About the Role:

As a Clinical Nurse (RN/M2C), you'll deliver high‑quality nursing care across diverse healthcare settings, building on your experience and advanced training. This role is ideal for professionals who are evolving from competence to proficiency, ready to take the next step in their nursing career.

You'll take ownership of your clinical practice, ensure safe delegation of tasks, and play a key role in mentoring and developing junior staff – shaping the future of care through leadership and guidance. While this role remains primarily clinical, you'll also be entrusted with specific portfolio responsibilities aligned with your professional goals. These responsibilities are assigned in collaboration with you, supporting your ongoing career development and tailored through your performance review process.

Join our team as a Registered Nurse (RN/M1) and embark on a journey of professional growth. In this foundational role, you'll provide essential nursing and/or midwifery services across healthcare settings, growing from a novice practitioner into a confident, capable clinician.

This position offers continuous learning and real‑world experience, helping you consolidate your skills and expand your clinical capabilities. You'll be accountable for delivering safe, effective care and for supporting the activities of those you supervise – developing both your autonomy and leadership potential.


About You:


RN/M2C

* Registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practising certificate.
* Registered Nurse/Midwife with at least 3 years, full‑time equivalent, post‑registration experience.
* Demonstrated competence in the relevant area of nursing practice in accordance with the appropriate standards of practice.
* Experience in the leadership and direction of student nurses, enrolled nurses and less experienced registered nurses.


RN/M1

* Registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practising certificate.
* Demonstrated competence in the relevant area of nursing practice in accordance with the appropriate standards of practice.

Immunisation Risk for this position is - Category A (direct contact with blood or body substances)
