Permanent, full‐time position at Newcastle & Salamander Bay. Some travel required to support other Hearing Centres within the Newcastle Region.
Your Opportunity
* Assess the auditory problems of non‐complex adult clients in accordance with established Australian Hearing practice methods and standards.
* Provide appropriate rehabilitative support including fitting hearing aids, assistive listening devices, personal amplification devices, accessories and/or communication strategies as appropriate.
* Refer clients to other professionals or seek guidance from more senior audiologists where needed.
* Participate in providing services at visiting sites and home visits.
* Liaise with National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) representatives, other allied health & support agencies and families/carers to ensure best practice and outcomes for each client.
* Undertake marketing/public relations activities in the community as required.
* Provide excellent customer service, manage client load and meet revenue targets.
What You'll Bring
* Tertiary qualification in Audiology.
* Full and current membership with Audiology Society of Australia.
* Sound knowledge of clinical Audiology and procedures in accordance with Australian Audiology standards.
* Sound knowledge of Hearing Services Program.
* Exposure to National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) scheme.
* Willingness and flexibility to travel to other locations to undertake clinical work.
* Ability to support business changes to clinical practice, products and policies.
