Electrical SCADA Technician
This position involves providing electrical expertise and skills to ensure high-quality operation and maintenance of sewage infrastructure.
About the Role
* Maintenance of electrical systems, including communication and control equipment is essential for ensuring efficient operations.
* Pre and post commissioning activities for assets are critical in maintaining optimal performance.
* Troubleshooting defective assets and communication systems is a key responsibility.
Key Responsibilities:
* Operation and maintenance of electrical, communication and control equipment.
* Undertake troubleshooting of defective assets, communication and control systems and new installations of electrical and control equipment.
* Maintain and update SCADA/PLC/Telemetry/Hardware/Software/Firmware to ensure efficient and effective operation of sewage treatment plants; sewage pump stations; and flood pump stations.
* Develop backup and recovery plans, specifications and organisational strategies for SCADA/IT hardware, software and firmware to ensure continuity of operations in the event of system failure.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Class C Driver's Licence.
* General Construction Induction Training Card (White Card).
* Trade qualification e.g., Certificate III in Electrotechnology – Electrician.
