About the role
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Commercial Cleaner to join our team to service client police station offices and areas. Please note, this site includes active cells that may require intense cleans as well as general cleaning.
Classification: Level 1
Rate: $29.73, plus other allowances as applicable
Hours: Tuesdays and Fridays, 5.5hrs each day. Additional fill in shifts may be available from time to time.
Location: In and around Marla
Key responsibilities
* Clean and disinfect bathrooms and kitchens, including toilets, urinals, dispensers, sinks, mirrors
* Waste, rubbish, recycling removal
* Vacuum and wash floors, paying particular attention to corners and edges
* Dust areas within cleaning scope
* Replace and replenish provided supplies, eg. toilet paper, liquid hand soap, bin liners
* Spot clean walls and other areas as required and remove cobwebs or other unsightly items
* Monitor cleaning stock levels and communicate with Manager as needed
Key requirements
* Have the right to work in Australia, hold current national police check, and have willingness to apply for SAPOL clearance or other compliance checks such as working with children check, APY Lands permit
* Have a driver licence and reliable personal vehicle to travel to place of work
* Previous commercial cleaning knowledge and experience would be advantageous
* Ability to work autonomously, use initiative, and manage tasks effectively
* High level of customer service skills with a friendly demeanor, attention to detail, and passion for cleanliness
* Have an acceptable level of physical and mental fitness
