Construction Manager
Lead, mentor, and inspire our estimating and delivery teams in Victoria. This is a hands‑on role, overseeing multiple projects—small, medium, and large domestic and commercial construction repairs—ensuring they are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.
What You'll Do
* Lead and mentor the construction team to deliver detailed scopes of work and accurate budgets for tenders.
* Oversee project scheduling and manage multiple site teams, ensuring timely, high-quality delivery.
* Drive WHS and safety compliance across all projects in collaboration with the BBS WHS team.
* Manage contractors and suppliers to meet company standards, purchase orders, and compliance requirements.
* Ensure projects remain profitable while delivering exceptional customer service.
* Collaborate closely with the State Operations Manager and company Directors on project strategy and delivery.
What We're Looking For
* Proven experience managing construction teams and multiple projects.
* Solid background in medium to large domestic and commercial construction repairs.
* Strong experience in estimating, budget management, and delivering building repairs.
* Confidence managing stakeholders, including property owners, clients, and insurers.
* Ability to juggle competing priorities and multiple projects simultaneously.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
* Strong knowledge of construction processes, WHS requirements, permits, and inspections.
* Competence in Microsoft Word, Excel, and MS Project.
* Understanding of relevant Building Codes and Australian Standards.
