The role
Based in North Sydney, JMV is seeking an inspirational and vibrant AIN/Carer/Lifestyle employee to join our team on a part time basis.
Our AIN/Carer/Lifestyle team is responsible for delivering personal care, high quality wellness and lifestyle services that empower and support customers to engage in meaningful activities and support residents to maximise their independence, improve and maintain their health, wellness and quality of life.
Who we are looking for
* You will be a team player, professional, friendly and can work a regular roster within our village
* Must have at least one year experience in a similar role; preferably in aged care
* Additional knowledge/qualifications in other aged care related fields (e.g., dementia care, continence) is desirable
* Cert 3 in Individual support and cert 4 in Leisure and Health, highly desirable
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
* Professional, friendly disposition, and have the ability to remain calm in a very busy aged care home
* Self-motivated, trustworthy, takes pride personal appearances
* Support in organising and facilitating recreational and lifestyle activities
* Demonstrated understanding of associated Aged Care accreditation standards
* Passion about healthy ageing and creating an environment that will promote quality of life for our residents
