At Green Leaves Early Learning, we take pride in building a learning environment where children are inspired to be curious about taste and flavour. Working closely with the Centre Chef at Green Leaves Early Learning Mawson Lakes, each day you can:
Responsibilities
Use your extraordinary culinary skills to support the Centre Chef in preparing a wide variety of nutritious meals and purees, as well as working to dietary requirements for babies and children
Greet our wonderful families with a big warm friendly smile each day, and wow them with your barista-made coffees and freshly baked treats (barista training provided if required)
Provide thoughtful culinary classes alongside our Centre Chef and Educators
Ensure the highest level of food safety, by maintaining a clean and safe kitchen, in accordance with Food and Council Authority requirements and Green Leaves Early Learning Standards
Combine your amazing time management and communication skills to support the kitchen to run smoothly each day

About You
An ACECQA-approved Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care
A current SA Working with Children\'s Check (or willing to obtain)
Current SA Child Protection Training (or willing to obtain)
Current HLTAID012 First Aid Certificate and CPR (or willing to obtain)
Experience cooking for young children aged from 6 weeks to 6 years of age
Availability to work 20 - 25 hours per week
The willingness to step up into the Chef's role when they are absent from the Centre from 6:30am to 2:30pm, Monday to Friday
