Role Options
* Community Focused – Based at our vibrant Dubbo Day Programs Centre, leading workshops, educational activities, and social outings.
* Residential Focused – Providing essential daily living support within accommodation services, helping participants live independently in a place they call home.
* A Mix of Both – Seamless transition for participants from their morning routine at home to afternoon activities in the community.
Responsibilities
* Assisting with personal care and daily living tasks with dignity and respect.
* Planning and attending community events, sports, and social groups to prevent isolation and build confidence.
* Being a voice for participants and ensuring their safety and wellbeing through accurate reporting and case notes.
* Supporting participants to meet goals in their NDIS plans – learning a new skill, attending an appointment, or mastering a recipe at home.
* Availability to work across a 24/7 roster, including mornings, evenings and sleepovers, especially for residential and mixed‐mode roles.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Resilience – experience supporting complex needs, mental health, or behaviours of concern is essential.
* Compliance – current NSW Driver's Licence, First Aid/CPR, WWCC, and NDISWC; willingness to be listed on the Residential Care Workers Register (RCWR).
* Reliable, empathetic, passionate about social justice, with a positive mindset.
* Flexibility to adapt to varied shifts and settings.
