We are currently looking for a Process Engineer to join a highly regarded Mining operation. This position will be based remotely (WFH) with some occasional site visits.
Responsibilities
- Identify and scope priority process plant improvement opportunities
- Perform process simulations, calculations, and equipment sizing
- Develop control design solutions, update drawings, and prepare job execution packages
- Support the preparation of design documentation, datasheets, and specifications
- Analyse process data to identify improvements and implement changes
- Work collaboratively with project, operations, and maintenance teams to deliver outcomes
Skills, qualifications and experience
- Tertiary qualifications in Chemical Engineering
- Demonstrated experience in process engineering (mining, resources, or heavy industry)
- A minimum of 3-5 years of process engineering experience is required
- Familiarity with process modelling and design software (e.g. METSIM, HSC, ASPEN, or similar)
- Practical experience with process modelling software such as METSIM, HSC, or ASPEN is required
- Ability to contribute across design, construction, and operational phases of a project
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Safety-first mindset and attention to detail
- Australian work authorisation is required for this role
