**About the Role**:
We are looking for a Pallet Controller to maintain control procedures for hire equipment and develop and maintain compliance and control procedures across all sites nationally. Identify areas of improvement and work closely with management to implement the necessary changes.
**Roles and Responsibilities**:
- Monitor the outstanding hired equipment IOUs, who owes them and the respective dwell times
- Administer Owed Equipment Redemption Policy
- Ensure that all control procedures are followed at all times. Identify areas of non-compliance and report to Manager
- Maintain the compliance of control procedures for hire equipment
- Undertake account reconciliation, physical stock-takes, hire balance analysis
- Promote an organisational culture which recognises the value of hire equipment and equipment control
- Facilitate a close relationship with the equipment supply company through effective communication
- Manage the operation of the 2IC pallet control system
- Report on all equipment hire and equipment management results
**Skills/Competencies**:
- Proficient in delivering high quality customer service, providing clients with options and solutions
- Able to think strategically with good analytical skills
- Sound project management, and process improvement including report documentation skills
- Highly flexible to new ideas with the ability to manage and adapt well to change
- Fluent in MS Office products that enable coordination of data (Excel, Word)
- Must have at least 2 years' experience in Pallet Control
- Must be used to controlling more than one location
