Job Title: Office Administrator
Job Description:
Inner West Council is seeking an Office Administrator to join our Children's Services team. The successful applicant will provide administrative support to the Children's Centre Director, including managing wait lists, processing applications for placements, and providing financial and operational reports. They will also be responsible for assisting with child enrolments, maintaining effective relationships with children, families, educators, community, and stakeholders.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Experience in accurate financial monitoring, recording, and reporting, including ordering and budgeting.
- Knowledge of Childcare Subsidy under the Federal Government's ChildCare Package or equivalent experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, data entry, and word-processing skills, including proficiency in CCS approved software packages and corporate software packages.
- Excellent customer service skills, including interacting and communicating effectively with children, parents, staff, and other stakeholders.
