About the Role
We are seeking an experienced, AHPRA-registered Psychologist to join our growing clinical team, delivering high-quality, evidence-based therapy to adults via a remote service model.
This role is ideal for clinicians who value strong clinical governance, professional accountability, and teamwork, while benefiting from flexibility, structured hours, and a supportive clinical environment.
You will provide psychological therapy to adults presenting with mild to moderate mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, work-related stress, relationship difficulties, and general psychological distress. All care is delivered remotely using secure digital platforms, including text-based support, telephone, and video consultations, within clearly defined clinical and risk frameworks aligned with national standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver evidence-based psychological interventions via telehealth platforms, in accordance with Thrive Mental Health’s clinical scope of practice and model of care
* Conduct triage and assessments in line with clinical protocols
* Complete risk assessments and manage client safety in accordance with our risk management framework
* Maintain accurate, timely, and professional clinical documentation
* Participate in clinical supervision, multidisciplinary discussions, quality improvement activities
* Collaborate effectively within a structured clinical governance framework
* When not attending to clients, support the Senior Psychologist with other clinical client requirements
About You
You are a client-centred mental health professional who values working remotely and within a team of other clinicians and will be:
* A fully registered Psychologist with AHPRA
* A minimum of three (3) years’ post-registration clinical experience
* Demonstrated experience delivering psychological services
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Confidence managing a caseload within agreed service parameters
* Comfort using digital systems and telehealth platforms
* Commitment to ethical practice, documentation quality, and continuous improvement
Remote Work Requirements
* Access to a private, quiet, and confidential space suitable for clinical consultations
* Reliable internet connection and appropriate technology for video and telephone sessions
Working Hours
* Core hours: Monday to Thursday, 3:00pm – 8:00pm AEDT
* Additional overtime opportunities: Saturday and Sunday
Overtime will be paid where applicable, in accordance with contractual arrangements.
