About the Role
JBS Pork Australia – Farming Team is currently recruiting a Welder to support the team at our Corowa site.
This full‐time position is responsible for providing an efficient and effective repair and maintenance service for Company facilities and equipment.
Key Responsibilities
* Perform general fitting, welding, fabricating, machining and equipment maintenance.
* Perform on‐site maintenance, equipment installation and breakdown repairs.
* Undertake daily work routines, jobs and project work in accordance with Company needs and priorities.
* Organise tools, equipment and materials to perform the job.
* Maintain tools and equipment in a safe and proper working condition.
* Provide technical input on engineering improvements to production systems and facilities.
* Contribute to key business activities (as required).
* Adhere to all Company policies, procedures, processes and work instructions at all times.
* Perform other duties as directed.
Skills & Experience
* Sound understanding of mechanical maintenance practices.
* Demonstrated ability in fitting, machining, and general equipment maintenance and repair.
* Working knowledge of maintenance procedures.
* Sound communication skills, initiative and strong attention to detail.
* Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
* Preparedness to work flexible hours.
