Nursing and Midwifery Leadership Opportunity
The Women and Children's Division of the Northern Adelaide Local Health Network is seeking an exceptional Nursing and Midwifery Director to lead our nursing and midwifery services. This pivotal role will guide the strategic direction and operational management of nursing and midwifery, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
About the Role
This senior leadership position involves leading the nursing and midwifery teams in delivering high-quality, safe, and compassionate care to women and children. You will work in partnership with the Medical Divisional Director to achieve outstanding patient outcomes and drive positive change in complex healthcare environments.
Requirements
* Professional Credibility: As a Registered Nurse and/or Midwife with current registration (or eligibility) with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
* Extensive Leadership Experience: Including at least five years post-registration and proven success in senior clinical leadership roles within acute and primary health care settings.
* Exceptional Management and Communication Skills: With the ability to build strong relationships, influence stakeholders, and lead diverse teams to achieve best practice outcomes.
* Strategic Thinking and Innovation: Demonstrated through experience in service planning, workforce reform, and implementing new models of care.
* Financial and Resource Management Expertise: Ensuring accountability and efficiency in a large, complex division.
* Commitment to Quality and Safety: With a track record of driving continuous improvement and fostering a culture of patient-centred care.
* Flexibility and Resilience: Enabling you to navigate change and deliver results in an environment of evolving priorities.
