Join our dynamic team at Wodonga TAFE as a DMPT Driver Instructor! You'll lead cutting-edge transport training for Army personnel, focusing on Mercedes Benz G Wagons and 40M vehicles, with opportunities to train on various military vehicle variants.
Based at our Defence site at Townsville Army Barracks, you’ll deliver top-notch training that emphasises safety, efficiency, and professionalism. Be a part of a leading provider of corporate driver excellence, renowned for its impactful national and international programs.
Training courses and assessment are delivered in accordance with continuous improvement framework, AQF standards and Transport values, direction, and code of conduct.
Selected Duties:
* Specific performance targets in line with these accountabilities will be negotiated as part of the Institute’s performance planning and review process.
* Maintain excellence in customer service when engaging with Defence and stakeholders with a respectful and inclusive attitude to diversity, and commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
* Maintain respectful, clear, and professional communication in all workplace interactions, fostering collaboration and a positive team environment
* Assist in delivering driver training courses and assessments in accordance with Defence and Wodonga TAFE standards.
* Assist to complete training and assessment records in accordance with AQTF/Deed/Contract standards and regulatory requirements.
* Assist to conduct training programs in a professional manner and in accordance with AQTF/Deed/Contract standards and Wodonga Institute of TAFE procedures.

Skills & Experience

* Commitment to completion of TAEASS412, TLIM0011 and other requirements of the Assistant Driving Instructors course.
* Must be an Australian Citizen to be able to obtain and maintain a Baseline Security Clearance.
* Must be able to undertake a pre-employment medical.
* Full Driver’s Licence
* Heavy Rigid Licence.
* Desirable Transport industry experience.
* Desirable Heavy Combination Licence.
