The Opportunity
The Boilermaker/Welder is required to conduct fabrication and welding duties in the maritime industry, in full and to standard, while striving for continuous improvement. The Boilermaker/Welder is responsible for keeping themselves and their colleagues safe as well as maintaining a clean, tidy and productive work environment.

* Conduct fabrication and welding/boilermaker duties as directed.
* Understand and accept the assigned task.
* Ownership and respect for tools and equipment.
* Completing assigned tasks in full and to the required standard.
* During periods of reduced trade specific works, assist in other trade-based sectors of the business as reasonably directed.
* Understanding, accepting, and delivering the quality standards
You'll need
Essential:
* Trade qualification – Welder/Fabricator, Boat builder or Boilermaker.
* Previous experience in Boilermaking/Welding in heavy industry.
* Able to attain welding qualifications to Survey Body level standard.
* Capable of performing work in a safe and acceptable manner.
* Demonstrate adequate theoretical knowledge.
* Ability to use standard tools and equipment related to the trade.
* Possess good time management skills and ability to meet set targets.
* Construction White Card
Desirable:
* First Aid, EWP and Forklift Certification
* Previous experience in Boilermaking/Welding in the Marine Repair industry
