Metal Fabricator / Installer – Coastal Stairs (Illawarra / South Coast)
About the Role
* Fabrication of steel, stainless steel, and aluminium components
* Balustrades, handrails, and stair structures
* Reading and interpreting CAD/shop drawings
* Cutting, welding (MIG/TIG), grinding, and assembly
* On-site installation of fabricated products
* Working closely with the factory and install team to meet deadlines
* Maintaining high-quality finishes and consistency across all work
What We’re Looking For
* Trade-qualified Boilermaker/Fabricator (or equivalent experience)
* Minimum 4–6 years industry experience (or 3rd/4th year apprentice ready to step up)
* Strong ability to work unsupervised and take initiative
* Confident reading and working from CAD drawings
* Experience welding steel, stainless steel, and aluminium
* High attention to detail and pride in clean, accurate work
* Problem-solving mindset and ability to adapt on the job
* Driver’s licence (manual preferred)
* Forklift licence (desirable, not essential)
* Team player with a solid work ethic
