We are seeking an experienced and values-driven Area Manager to lead our Permanency Support Program in Wagga Wagga, overseeing residential care and case management services across multiple sites.
The Opportunity
As Area Manager, you will provide strong operational and practice leadership across our PSP portfolio, ensuring high-quality, child-centred and trauma-informed service delivery.
You Will
* Lead and support a team of Youth Workers and Case Managers across residential and case management programs
* Oversee multiple sites, ensuring safe, compliant and effective service delivery
* Drive best practice and continuous improvement aligned with Office of the Children's Guardian (OCG) Accreditation Standards
* Collaborate with key stakeholders including DCJ and the Office of the Children's Guardian
* Ensure compliance with legislative, contractual and organisational requirements
* Prepare reports and contribute to strategic planning and service development
* Manage budgets and care packages effectively
* Support staff development, performance management and wellbeing
About You
* You are an experienced leader who is passionate about achieving permanency outcomes for children and young people.
You Will Bring
* Tertiary qualifications in Community Services, Social Work, Psychology or a related field
* Minimum 4+ years' experience in a similar role (OOHC/child protection experience preferred)
* Demonstrated experience managing or leading teams
* Strong understanding of trauma, child development and therapeutic care models
* Knowledge of Restoration, Preservation, Adoption and Guardianship pathways
* Budget and care package management experience
* Strong stakeholder engagement skills
* Unrestricted driver's licence and access to a vehicle
