About this role
We are seeking passionate, customer-centric candidates to join our Perioperative team as a Theatre Orderly. This role is your opportunity to play a crucial part in our renowned clinical care, directly impacting patient satisfaction and outcomes.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Patient Transport: Safely moving patients to and from Theatre and Recovery.
* Operational Support: Assisting in the smooth operation of the theatre, including setup, patient positioning, and maintaining a clean and well stocked Theatre.
* Environmental Care: Managing waste and soiled linen disposal efficiently.
* Mentorship: Offering guidance and support to new members of the orderly team.
Hours
This is a permanent part time position requiring availability for 60 hours per fortnight across a 10 day roster (Monday to Friday). Shifts will be scheduled between 07.00am and 23:00pm.
About you
Though experience in a healthcare setting is beneficial, it is not mandatory. The preferred candidate should demonstrate
