We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Head of Department - Teaching and Learning to lead our academic team and drive excellence in teaching practices.
As Head of Department - Teaching and Learning you will play a pivotal role in leading curriculum and pedagogy.
The ideal candidate has a strong, proven track record of leadership in all aspects of teaching and learning, including moderation, supporting recent and beginning teachers, the teaching of reading through the Australian Curriculum, and pedagogy development across the school.
This is a temporary full-time position commencing 22 January
- until 11 December
- unless otherwise determined.

About The Role
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Whole‑school curriculum coordination and quality assurance across a large middle leadership team, inclunding Australian Curriculum V9 planning and implementation
- Leading pedagogy development across a large and diverse staff
- Mentoring new and beginning teachers program coordination, including teacher induction
- Head of Year responsibilities for one year level as part of a team with other Heads of Year and the year level Deputy Principal
- Leadership of the schoolwide moderation processes
