Job Description We are seeking a dynamic and passionate individual to join our team as a Bush Regeneration Officer, carrying out bush regeneration activities across a variety of project sites to support the delivery of Council's Delivery and Operational Plans.

As a county council, we are responsible for providing three specific functions; bulk water supply, weed biosecurity and flood mitigation.

Desired Skills and Experience Your value proposition to us: Certificate III in Bush Regeneration or equivalent qualification in Natural Resource Management Demonstrated experience in bush regeneration or environmental restoration Knowledge and experience in herbicide application, recording and notification requirements Experience using and maintaining plant and equipment (e.g. brush cutters, chainsaws) Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment and independently with minimal supervision Computer literacy, particularly with Microsoft Office applications.
Your average workday will be kept busy by: Undertake bush regeneration works including tree planting, weed control and related activities.
Assist with weed biosecurity surveillance and control under direction of the Bush Regeneration
