Stolway is a specialist engineering and manufacturing company designing and building high-spec HVAC equipment for the global Oil & Gas industry. With a strong pipeline of international projects, including a major 2026 delivery program, we are expanding our Wollongong workshop team.
The Role
Based in a structured workshop environment, you will assemble, test and commission engineered HVAC systems built to stringent Oil & Gas specifications. The work involves high-spec, custom-designed equipment for international project delivery.
Reporting to the Workshop Coordinator, you will:
* Assemble HVAC systems to detailed engineering drawings
* Conduct testing, fault-finding and commissioning
* Complete QA and project documentation
* Ensure compliance with ISO9001 and internal quality standards
* Maintain strong WHS and housekeeping standards
* Mentor apprentices within the workshop
You
You are a qualified Refrigeration Technician who values quality workmanship and enjoys working in a team-based production environment.
* Trade Qualification in Refrigeration / HVAC
* Current ARCtick Refrigerant Handling Licence
* Valid Contractor or Supervisor Licence (NSW Dept. of Fair Trading)
* Post-trade experience in commercial or industrial HVAC
* Strong brazing, pipework and system commissioning capability
* Ability to confidently read and interpret technical drawings
* High attention to detail and documentation accuracy
* A proactive approach to safety and compliance
