About the Role
This position involves delivering a flexible transport option connecting people to work or training in regional areas where access to private or public transport is limited or unavailable. You will provide transport to jobseekers and participants undertaking education and training activities allowing them to increase skills and secure employment.
* Safely operate vehicles of varying sizes and work independently using transport software on an in-vehicle device.
* Adapt to changes to ensure efficient service delivery and passenger satisfaction.
* Ensure provision of service is efficient and aligns to schedules and established timeframes.
* Maintain professional relationships with passengers, employees, and the general public at all times.
* Ensure vehicles are maintained in a safe operating condition through pre-departure checks and end of day procedures.
* Follow established procedures for record keeping and reporting and collect fares when required.
* Collaborate with coordinators to communicate feedback and seek solutions to overcome barriers to providing an optimal service.
