What you'll be doing
This role offers the opportunity to apply your accounting expertise across a range of operational and reporting functions. You'll be responsible for both transactional data entry, accuracy and contributing to broader financial processes that support business performance.
* Processing invoices and managing accounts payable
* Raising invoices and project administration
* Supporting month-end processes, including preparing journal entries
* Supporting the reconciliation of balance sheet items, with attention to ensuring workpapers are completed accurately and effectively.
* Assisting with forecasting and budgeting
* Using Excel confidently, whether it's formulas, pivots or learning quickly on the go
* Contributing to system and process improvements with a proactive mindset
* Ensuring system or process improvements are implemented and adopted
Who we are looking for
We're seeking a degree qualified accountant with a solid foundation in accounting principles and a proactive approach to continuous improvement. You'll be someone who thrives in a collaborative environment and brings both technical capability and a positive attitude to the team.
* Degree-qualified in accounting or a related discipline
* Experience in accounts payable, data entry and month-end processes
* Strong Excel skills — confident with formulas, pivots and problem-solving
* Familiarity with MYOB Acumatica, Advanced, or other ERP systems
* Highly organised and efficient with time
* Friendly, approachable and a great team player
* A mindset focused on improving systems and processes
