About the role
Streamline Innovations' is seeking an experienced Landscape Construction Site Manager to lead and oversee our construction projects in the beautiful Newport, QLD region. This is a full-time position that will play a critical role in ensuring the successful delivery of our landscape construction projects.
What you'll be doing
* Manage and coordinate all on-site construction activities, including supervising a team of landscape construction workers
* Liaise with clients, contractors, and directors to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards
* Oversee the procurement of materials and equipment, and manage supplier relationships
* Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and safety protocols
* Monitor and report on project progress, identify and resolve any issues or risks
* Ensure compliance with all relevant building codes, regulations, and company policies
* Provide technical guidance and support to the construction team, and mentor junior staff as required
What we're looking for
* Minimum 5 years' experience as a Landscape Construction Site Manager or in a similar supervisory role within the construction industry
* Demonstrated experience in managing the full lifecycle of landscape construction projects, from planning to completion
* Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and conflict resolution skills
* Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients, contractors, and the construction team
* Proficient in the use of construction management software and tools
* Thorough understanding of landscape construction methods, materials, and equipment
* Knowledge of relevant building codes, regulations, and safety protocols
* Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple priorities simultaneously
