About The CompanyDesign and Build are recruiting for a Construction Manager on behalf of a growing Residential Builder in Adelaide.Our client is looking for an experienced Construction Manager who has local experience working across a diverse range of projects including detached housing, to head up the delivery of a healthy pipeline of work.ResponsibilitiesThe Construction Manager will be responsible for overseeing 4 supervisors for investment projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing a team, excellent leadership skills, and experience working in the residential industry.Oversee and manage all phases of projects, including planning, execution, and closeout.Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, suppliers, and on-site personnel.Ensure all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.Conduct site inspections to monitor progress and ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and safety standards.Address any issues or delays promptly and efficiently to keep projects on track.Prepare and maintain project documentation, including schedules, budgets, and progress reports.Foster strong relationships with clients, providing regular updates and addressing any concerns.Skills & ExperienceProven experience as a Construction Manager in the construction industry.Strong leadership and communication skills.Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.Proficiency in project management software and tools, preferably onsite companion.A degree or diploma in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred.Holding a builder's licence will be highly regarded.The successful applicant will be working with a company with a supportive and experienced leadership team.
