Description
We are looking for a talented Trades Assistant to join our high performing team at our Master Rebuild Centre in Carole Park, QLD.
In this role you will operate machines and production equipment in accordance with quality and productivity requirements safely in a manufacturing environment with limited guidance.
Shift Hours
6am to 2pm and 10am to 6pm
Impact
* Play a supportive role in the remanufacture of the highest quality, high‐horsepower diesel engines for our mining customers
* Work as part of a highly skilled team to deliver 'As New' reconditioned engines using high‐tech equipment
* Learn new skills, through on‐the‐job training
* Work on 19‐ltr to 78‐ltr (600 – 3500 BHP) industry‐leading engines in a world‐class facility
* Ensure adherence to all relevant health, safety & environmental policies, procedures and legislation, and report any issues or incidents
* Complete required documentation, such as safety check sheets, process quality checks and daily timesheets
Additional Information
* Full time, 38 hours per week
* Overtime as required – penalty rates paid for all work above 38 hours
* All safety equipment, PPE and uniforms provided and laundered
* Domestic relocation may be offered for the right candidate
* Local valid drivers licence (preferred)
* Work required to be completed 100% in person / on‐site
Experience
* Apprentice trained engine technician (Cert III)
* Intermediate level knowledge of and experience with machinery and/or production
* Forklift licence preferred
