At the Department for Infrastructure and Transport, we are connecting South Australia to keep our State moving. We are responsible for delivering a multi‑billion‑dollar pipeline of transformative transport and social infrastructure projects, operating, and maintaining thousands of kilometres of roads and managing our city's public transport network.
The Opportunity
The Department is seeking expressions of interest to establish a pool of casual Selection Panel Officers for a period of 12 months.
Selection Panel Officers play a key role in supporting culturally respectful and inclusive recruitment processes across the organisation. Responsibilities include reviewing and assessing applications, participating in candidate interviews, conducting referee checks, and contributing to selection documentation and decision making.
Successful candidates may be engaged on a casual basis to assist with recruitment activities as required.
Special Conditions
In accordance with Section 56 (2) of the Equal Opportunity Act 1984 (SA), applicants for this pool must be of Aboriginal and or Torres Strait Islander descent.
Eligibility Requirements
* Identify as Aboriginal and or Torres Strait Islander.
* A National Police Check (NPC) is required prior to employment and must be renewed every three years.
Vacancy details
Casual appointment up to 15 hours per week.
Remuneration
ASO5 - $85,790 - $95,413 per annum + superannuation
ASO6 - $98,478 - $104,165 per annum + superannuation
ASO7 - $108,109 - $116,864 per annum + superannuation
