Network Security Engineer
As a Network Security Engineer, you will play a critical role in safeguarding our network infrastructure. This position requires a strong background in network security, with expertise in technologies such as load balancers, fabric switches, routers, and layer 2/3 switches.
Key Responsibilities:
* Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot routers, switches, and fabric switches to ensure seamless connectivity.
* Troubleshoot network problems and outages.
* Strong understanding on routing & switching technologies including MPLS, IPsec, VPN, BGP and OSPF.
* Perform troubleshooting and resolve different problems and evaluate LAN and WAN.
* Load Balancer Administration: Work with F5, NetScaler, Citrix load balancers for traffic optimization and high availability.
* Firewall & Security Operations: Monitor and manage firewalls using FMC (Firepower Management Console) and Splunk and other SIEM tools to detect and mitigate threats.
* Hands on experience on Cisco ACI.
* Wireless Network Management: Maintain WAPs and wireless controllers for optimal performance and user connectivity.
* Infra & Network Monitoring: Utilize tools like SolarWinds, PRTG, Cisco Prime/DNA Centre, and Cisco Licensing Manager for proactive monitoring and troubleshooting.
* Backup & Disaster Recovery: Manage and maintain backup solutions.
* Service Management & Compliance: Use ServiceNow, SCCM, and Intune for incident management, configuration tracking, and policy enforcement.
* Performance Optimization & Troubleshooting: Analyze network health, conduct root-cause analysis, and recommend improvements.
* Capacity Planning & Upgrades: Assess network usage trends, plan scalability, and implement enhancements.
* Documentation & Compliance: Ensure adherence to security policies, industry standards, and maintain detailed network documentation.
* Team Leadership & Training: Lead a team of Security and Network engineers, providing guidance and mentorship.
