Orontide is a leading Western Australian company providing specialist engineering, fabrication, preservation, and integrity maintenance services to the Oil & Gas, Mining, Naval Defence, Marine and Commercial Industries.
As a result of the company's continued growth, an excellent opportunity has become available for a Senior IT Technician to continue to deliver high-quality outcomes and excellent customer service on a 12-month Fixed Term Contract
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* Troubleshoot and resolve site-related IT, communications and network issues
* Deploy and maintain IT infrastructure including hardware, networking equipment, communications devices and remote access system
* Conduct routine inspections of IT infrastructure to ensure reliability and compliance
* Assist with physical installations (cabling, AV equipment, radio base stations, mounting equipment)
* Manage user access provisioning (Active Directory, VPN, door access systems)
* Monitor network performance and respond to alerts
* Support printers, plotters and multi-function devices
* Assist with onboarding of new users including device allocation and setup
* Monitor and manage security-flagged emails
* Contribute to scope of works (SoW) for site-based IT projects and upgrades
* Administer Microsoft 365, including SharePoint and Exchange
* Implement and maintain Conditional Access policies
* Document systems, changes, and procedures
* Work collaboratively with the wider internal team
To be successful for this position, you must possess the following:
* Tertiary qualification or degree
* Minimum 3 Years' Industry Experience
* Excellent communication skills
* Reside currently in Perth
* Australian Resident
* Strong communication and customer service skills
* Professional presentation and work ethic
* Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work independently
* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
