Your new company
This well-known Federal Government Department is seeking an APS5 Grants Officer to join one of their sections due to an increase in workload. This section manages a program that provides grants funding to vulnerable communities in regional and remote areas of Australia.
Your new role
As the APS5 Grants Officer, you will provide essential administrative and program support to the team. Reporting to the Director, you will assist with grant application processing, stakeholder communication, and records management.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in your new role, you will have previous experience in a program or grants role in the Federal Government. You will also have an understanding of grants processes and the legislative frameworks they operate under, strong organisational and planning skills, the ability to manage competing priorities, excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a small team.
