You will work with a team of dedicated allied health professionals, supporting clients on their journey to return to work and life after physical or psychological injury.
As a Graduate Rehabilitation Counsellor, you will be:
* Providing initial assessments, psychometric testing, and brief interventions for job seekers with psychosocial and mental health barriers to employment
* Performing vocational assessments, transferable skills analysis, and recovery support
* Conducting initial assessments with injured workers and case management for return to same employment
* Assessing and reporting on psychological functional capacities, including completing psychological assessments
* Assessing and recommending on the effects of mental health and medical conditions on work ability
* Writing detailed case notes and reports
* Supporting veterans’ psychosocial, medical, and return-to-work goals
* Providing adjustment to injury counseling and vocational counseling, in-person and via phone
* Working with adult clients from diverse socioeconomic, educational, psychosocial, and cultural backgrounds

Requirements:
* Hold a Masters in Rehabilitation Counselling
* Be eligible for ASORC or RCAA accreditation upon graduation
* Graduated within the last 12 months or graduating in 2025
* Agree to a pre-employment national criminal check
* Have full Australian working rights
* Hold a full driver’s license, own a vehicle, and have comprehensive insurance
