Robert Half is working with a client who is seeking an Automation Test Analyst to join their team. This role focuses on non-functional testing, automation, and performance assurance across multiple projects, ensuring the security, reliability, and scalability of critical systems.
About the role
You'll be responsible for designing, executing, and maintaining automation frameworks that support load, stress, penetration, and vulnerability testing. The role involves hands-on work with tools such as JMeter, Selenium, and related extensions, preparing and executing testing for web and application platforms in conjunction with vendor resources, and producing reporting for audits and ongoing system monitoring.
Key responsibilities
* Conduct non-functional and automation testing using JMeter, Selenium, and Cypress
* Perform load, stress, penetration, vulnerability, and security testing across applications and platforms
* Develop and maintain automation scripts to support existing frameworks and new functionalities
* Support Disaster Recovery (DR) and High Availability (HA) testing, identifying risks and mitigation strategies
* Perform accessibility testing across web and applications using industry tools
* Contribute to monitoring platform testing, including URL and system health monitoring
* Manage audit-related testing (including IRAP), prepare reports, and track issues in JIRA
* Collaborate across multiple projects, ensuring quality and compliance standards are met
Essential skills
* 5+ years in functional and non-functional testing across diverse projects
* Strong experience with automation frameworks and scripting (JMeter, Selenium, Cypress, Qualys extensions)
* Solid understanding of load and DDoS testing methodologies
* Knowledge of penetration testing and vulnerability assessment
* Experience in DR and HA testing
* Familiarity with accessibility testing best practices and tools
* Strong reporting and stakeholder communication skills
Desirable skills
* Non-functional API testing with relevant tools and techniques
* Familiarity with monitoring tools to analyse performance and health metrics, identify anomalies, and raise issues proactively
