We currently have an opportunity available for an experienced Truck Driver with MR Drivers Licence or above for work with a road maintenance team based at Goulburn. Applicants ideally should also hold a current accreditation for TMA operations.
This role will involve working full time hours of work (8.5 hours/day - 9 day fortnight) for an initial period until the end of June, with potential to continue beyond this date for suitable operators. An immediate start of work will be required. An attractive hourly pay rate is being offered, including overtime penalty rates and allowances for additional hours of work.
Duties will include driving MR trucks around the job site for the movement of materials, operation of TMA as well as manual labouring tasks with a roadworks crew.
Successful Applicants will need;
* current WHS White Card - essential
* Worker On Foot card - or willingness to obtain (online link able to be provided for successful applicant)
* UNRESTRICTED MR driver licence - truck mounted attenuator experience would be advantageous
* TMA ticket highly preferred
* traffic control tickets - or willing to obtain
* previous experience with road construction or maintenance will be highly regarded
* fit for manual work tasks as required
Applicants will need to be fit for physically demanding work, and be a genuine team player with a willingness to undertake manual labour as well as the truck driving duties.
