- About the Role
Service Stream's Utilities division are currently seeking a Electrical Supervisor to join our growing company. You will be responsible for the oversight of safety, quality and performance of the field workers
Nature of position: Permanent, Full Time
Location: Ballarat, VIC
Reporting Line: Contract Manager
Key Responsibilities
The principal objectives of this position is to undertake work including, but not limited to, the areas as identified below.
- Maintenance of Water and Wastewater Electrical Infrastructure;
- Visit clients sites and check electrical infrastructure for operability
- Visit clients sites and perform telemetry systems checks
- Visit client sites and conduct reactive/breakdown maintenance of water and wastewater electrical infrastructure
- Scheduled on call/after hours response
- Minor Capital Electrical Works of Water and Wastewater Infrastructure;
- Visit client sites and facilitate switchboard upgrades
- Additional infrastructure instillation
- Pumpstation upgrades
- Treatment plant upgrades
- Network system instillation or upgrades
- Supervision/Sub-Contractor Management;
- Direct the work of sub-contractors;
- Ensure sub-contractors operate in a safe manner and in accordance with Service Stream and clients policies and procedures relating to OH&S and quality
- Time sheeting
- Reporting of any issues to Contract Manager
- HSEQ;
- Implementation and maintenance of SWMS
- Inspections, audits, spot checks of in field work
- Have conversations and provide a safety based influence on other workers
- Ensure quality of work and provide feedback to the work group Promote and lead the use and evolution of Service Stream's HSEQ systems and their integration into day to day management;
- Promote and lead a culture of safety and wellbeing for Service Streams employees and subcontractors;
- Ensure the requirements of AS/NZS ISO 9001:2008 (or relevant updates) are implemented and maintained.
About You
- 5+ Years experience in a similar role
- Fully qualified and licensed electrician
- Working from Heights Accreditations preferred
- Confined Space Accreditation preferred
- Elevated Work Platform preferred
