The role
We are looking for exceptional customer service professionals to join our customer-facing team deployed across the Sydney Light Rail network. As a Casual Customer Service Officer, you will be required to manage large crowds, particularly during peak periods and major events and typically working early mornings, late evenings and weekends. Critical to our business is passenger safety and as part of this role you will deliver high-quality frontline customer service and support safe, efficient operations. We are looking for Casual Customer Service Officers who also have the capability and interest in being upskilled and occasionally taking on more responsibility during our special events and in providing customer information from the control room.
What you bring
* Provide high-quality customer service at our platforms across Sydney Light Ral
* Deliver clear, accurate, and timely travel information to customers
* Support customer flow and crowd management during peak periods and major events
* Manage and de-escalate challenging customer interactions professionally
* Work both independently and as part of a broader Customer Service and Revenue Protection team
* Ability to work on your feet for your entire shift
* Flexible approach and commitment to working casual shifts
