About the role

Reporting to the Clinical Manager Wards, the After‑Hours Hospital Coordinator is a pivotal senior nursing role, responsible for leading and coordinating safe, high‑quality care across our inpatient wards during night duty. Practising as an experienced and autonomous Registered Nurse, this role provides clinical leadership, supports effective patient flow, and oversees the delivery of evidence‑based nursing care. You will play a central role in clinical decision making, appropriate delegation and supervision, and ensuring staff and patient safety after hours.

The After‑Hours Hospital Coordinator is a trusted clinical resource, offering expertise in complex situations, coordinating emergency responses, and ensuring the effective allocation of staff and resources across all ward and COU areas. Working collaboratively, you will contribute to service improvement, uphold clinical standards, and foster the development, engagement and wellbeing of the nursing team overnight.

This is an exciting opportunity for an accomplished RN to step into a leadership position within our professional and supportive team at our Stepney location. The role is offered at 0.8 FTE.
