Electrical Engineer (FIFO – Resources & Mining)
FIFO | Western Australia | Contract
ISE Resources is a specialist recruitment and consulting partner supporting major resources and mining projects across Western Australia. Due to sustained project demand, we are seeking Electrical Engineers across Graduate, Mid-Level, Senior, and Lead levels to join site-based project teams on a contract basis.
The Opportunity
These FIFO roles offer the chance to work on technically complex and large-scale mining and resources projects throughout WA. Engineers will contribute across various stages of the project lifecycle, working closely with multidisciplinary teams in a dynamic site environment.
Key Responsibilities
· Deliver electrical engineering services across design, construction, commissioning, and operational phases
· Prepare, review, and approve electrical designs, calculations, drawings, and technical documentation
· Ensure all work complies with Australian Standards, site requirements, and statutory regulations
· Provide technical support and problem-solving in a FIFO, site-based environment
· Liaise with project managers, contractors, and operations teams
· Identify risks, manage change, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
About You
· Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent
· Experience within resources and/or mining environments (or relevant project exposure for graduate-level candidates)
· Suitable experience to operate at Graduate, Mid-Level, Senior, or Lead Engineer capacity
· Strong working knowledge of Australian Standards and engineering best practice
· Ability to work effectively in FIFO teams and adapt to site-based conditions
Professional Accreditation
· CPEng accredited or currently working toward CPEng (required)
Mandatory Requirement
· Full working rights in Australia (Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident, or valid work visa)
