This role oversees intellectual property (IP) development and licensing and facilitates the commercialisation of innovative ideas within the Gold Coast Hospital and Health Service.
The Role
An opportunity has become available for a Director (Digital Partnerships and Innovation) to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 13 000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.
You will
* Lead the development and execution of an enterprise digital innovation and partnerships roadmap
* Partner with clinical, digital, and operational leaders to identify key organisational challenges
* Develop and implement scalable contractual and engagement models
* Contribute to the development and maintenance of digital partnerships policies, systems and procedures
About you
To be successful in this position you will require:
* While not mandatory, a degree in Technology or Business Management with a preferrable relevant qualification in health service management would be well regarded
* Demonstrated experience delivering programs and/or projects in complex healthcare organisations is mandatory
* Experience working with software development, architecture or product development teams in healthcare environment is highly regarded
* Experience in project and program management methodologies such as PRINCE2, PMBOK, Scrum, Lean or Agile methodologies is highly regarded
* Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed
* Criminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost)

* Base salary ranging from $155 432 - $164 467 per annum

The DTR portfolio consists of interconnected functional business units and teams, including Research, Digital Investment Management Office, Digital Project Delivery, Digital Experience, Technology Operations, Health Information, and Digital Security and Architecture.
