The Unit oversees key functions of healthcare quality and safety, planning, public health, data and health information management, innovation in service design and development, digital innovation, and evaluation and research.Child health programs aim to support parents, infants and children from preconception and pregnancy through to early childhood (5 years of age) to enhance family functioning and to promote childhood development and parental wellbeing.As Child Health Nurse, your role is to provide support to parents and carers of infants and young children to promote childhood development and parenting capacity. The role will entail health promotion, education, developmental assessments, and other clinical care.
