Fleurieu FM is a community radio station based in Victor Harbor. The primary focus of this position is to source and manage sponsorship clients and relationships. The successful candidate will bring proven sales skills and experience to the role. Strong skills and experience in direct sales, creative, marketing and administration will be an advantage.
The Sponsorship Manager works under the direction of the Fleurieu FM Board and reports to the Chairperson and Treasurer of Fleurieu FM.
Key responsibilities for this role include;
- sourcing potential sponsors along with managing client relationships (follow up)
- managing and processing sponsor leads and referrals
- maintaining Sponsor list
- preparing individual sponsor client contracts; referring interview opportunities to the Station Manager
- sourcing sponsored prizes suitable for on-air giveaways and for major prizes
- writing the script for sponsorship announcement and providing audio voicing
- obtaining client approval for script before going to air
- providing fully completed and accurate documentation in set time frames
- delivering accurate information to sponsors
- maintain accurate records of contract expiry dates and contact Sponsor prior to that date to renew Sponsorship.
