About this Role:
We are seeking a dedicated Senior Health Practitioner to join our team in working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Parents, Children and young people and their families using a Primary Health Care Model. As a Senior Health Practitioner, you will be responsible for providing culturally safe and appropriate child and family health services, including health assessments, health promotion and education activities, immunisation clinics, hearing clinics, and Indigenous school hearing programs.
This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities. You will work collaboratively as part of a multi-disciplinary team to develop and implement care plans that meet the individual and family needs.
Requirements:
* Possession of a Diploma in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Primary Health Care or working towards this qualification is required.
* Experience in hearing health, child and family health and health promotion would be highly regarded but not essential.
