Looking to play a vital role in strengthening operational practice across the child protection system?

Our team in Woodville is currently seeking a Senior Manager to provide strategic leadership and strengthen operational practice across the child protection system. Reporting to the Regional Director, you will ensure consistent, high-quality, and culturally safe service delivery that meets legislative obligations and achieves improved outcomes for children, young people and families.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

* Drive and oversee the implementation of practice related reforms, change programs and service delivery enhancements.
* Provide authoritative advice to senior executives on practice trends, emerging risks, legislative interpretation and system-wide impacts.
* Monitor performance indicators, critical incidents and practice quality while implementing targeted improvement strategies where required.
* Forge and maintain strong working relationships with Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisations and various key stakeholders.
* Lead operational practice risk management, including identification of systemic risks, mitigation strategies and decision-making structures.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

* Experience in reviewing existing work practices, systems and procedures in pursuit of best practice opportunities.
* Expertise in leading operational practice in accordance with delegated authorities to successfully implement key strategic priorities.
* Proficiency in leading the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander placement principle and implement culturally safe practices.
* Capability to demonstrate sound judgement to identify improvement, solve complex problems and meet deadlines.
* Exceptional communicational skills, in relation to providing expert advice, conducting successful negotiations and resolving conflict.
