**Job Purpose**:
To provide support on project management in line with organisation expectations and business strategies. Assist with cost estimates, detailed drawings and plans for civil engineering work related to multiple projects. Conduct tests of construction materials and prepare the requisite sketches and tabulation for assigned projects. Coordinate with managers, supervisors and field team to schedule the projects for seamless execution. Assist in the development of proposals, procurement and progress reports. Should display passion and enthusiasm in the role assigned and take adequate care to drive and complete assigned projects within agreed timelines.
**Duties and Responsibilities**:
- Develop detailed plans and coordinate closely with internal teams, subcontractors as well as external suppliers for smooth execution of site activities.
- Perform Civil Engineering tasks including preparation of sketches, tabulation, fieldwork coordination and design for assigned projects.
- Conduct Quality Assurance and Quality Control processes including document controls, work statement and other forms for compliance.
- Review architectural and engineering drawings and assist in the preparation of bill of materials and detailed cost plans in view of project budgets.
- Monitor progress of work and compliance at site through regular inspections, prepare and present report of findings to both internal and external stakeholders.
- Perform laboratory and field tests for construction materials, analyse and report findings and ensure adherence to standard.
- Extend necessary support in bid submission, client proposals, budget formulation and client meetings to update and discuss project status.
- Establish and maintain robust and open relationships with site supervisors, subcontractors and client representatives.
- Open to flexible work hours including stretched hours and weekends in view of business and urgent client needs.
**Skills and Specifications**:
- Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering with either a Degree course or a Diploma
program.
- At least 2 years of relevant work experience in civil infrastructure projects and
operating in a similar capacity.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn and work in a team environment to
achieve the organisational goals.
- Detailed orientation, strong organising and planning skills with an acute eye for
quality and time management.
- Strong written and verbal communications skills and flexibility to work with
deadlines and targets.

**Salary**: $75,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
